LINSEED即将呈现群展“闲人游戏”（Decadent Gaming），带来六位/组中国年轻新晋艺术家的新作，他们均长期生活于英国及欧洲文化背景之中，包括郭雅格、Jin+Fan（金巧儿、樊博）、李黑地、夏莎菲、肖语涵、余芷桐。展览将于2020年8⽉16⽇开幕，并持续⾄2020年9⽉20⽇。身处展览所在的场域，艺术家们在游戏中建立新的规则，玩味地呼应着当下的精神生活境况。
郭雅格 Yage Guo
郭雅格1998年出生于内蒙古，成长于上海。2020年本科毕业于伦敦大学学院斯莱德美术学院，现于该校进行研究生学习。郭雅格在创作中敏锐感知与描绘“刹那”的意境，对无法被清晰定义的转换状态报以“可远观而不可亵玩“的观看的态度。如回顾难以忘怀的电影镜头，车辆飞驰时窗外走马灯般的场景，花朵从绽放到凋零的生命周期……她在多元的绘画媒介中不断探索转瞬既逝的定格与延展。其作品曾在莫斯科，香港，伦敦等地展出。
郭雅格 Guo Yage（b. 1998）

Yage Guo was born in 1998 in Nei Mongol and grown up in Shanghai, China. She graduated from Slade School of Fine Art at University College of London in 2020 and is currently pursuing her postgraduate degree at the Slade. Yage’s approach to painting captures a sense of time, oriented by the idea of “moment” —— a slice of time that holds the transition from one state to its counterpart. She perceives these fading contemplated moments as non-interactive. She sees sentimental moments from various subject matters — memorable screenshots from films, trotting-horse-lamp-like scenes inside a moving car, the life of flowers, etc. Her continuous practice explores the stillness and uncanny extension of the pass-through time. Her works have previously been exhibited in Moscow, Hongkong and London.
Jin+Fan（金巧儿、樊博）
艺术双人组Jin+Fan成立于2019年，艺术家金巧儿与樊博分别生于1996年与1995年，共同毕业于加拿大多伦多大学，并于2020年共同获得伦敦艺术大学切尔西学院硕士学位。金巧儿的作品专注于不断被重新定义的“自然”这一概念并且尝试在后真相时代语境下探讨超小说（parafiction）这种创作形式。而樊博的作品着重于探究文字、图像、声音的结合方式对碎片化叙事与主观体验的影响。在保留各自独立创作的同时，他们的合作结合了特定地点现成品装置、行为、影像等媒介，以“客厅展览”为系列主题，并同期出版同名系列手册《我以为我和一个艺术家住在一起》，致力于探索艺术性空间的多样性，以及艺术家在非常规艺术机构或空间的身份与处境的自省。他们的作品曾展出于多伦多、伦敦、波尔图、上海、北京。
Artist duo Jin+Fan was established in 2019. Qiaoer Jin and Bo Fan, born in 1996 and 1995 respectively, both graduated from the University of Toronto, Canada in 2018 and acquired their MA degrees in Fine Art at UAL Chelsea College of Art in the UK. Jin’s works concentrate on the continuously redefined concept of “nature,” and explore parafiction as a form of her art practice in a post-truth era. Fan’s interest in exploring the subjectivity of encountering images, texts and sounds, leads to his incorporation of fragmented storytelling associated with desire, obsession and retrospection. While keeping their individual practices ongoing, their collaboration features a series of exhibitions in their living room or a non-gallery space, with each exhibition accompanied by a zine catalogue/publication titled I Thought I Was Living with An Artist. Combining site-specific installations, performance, and time-based works, their works explore the potentiality of domestic spaces, experimenting with alternative states of living and ways of practicing art, pondering the “location” of artists in the contemporary art world. Their works have been exhibited in Toronto, London, Porto, Shanghai, Beijing.
李黑地 Li Hei Di
李黑地1997年出生于中国沈阳，曾就读于美国马里兰艺术大学，后获伦敦艺术大学切尔西学院荣誉艺术学士学位。其作品在环境与欲望的冲突中展开，暗示本能、真实、纯粹的自由、狂喜及与之俱来潜在的危险, 亦真亦幻地折射社会、人际、物质、情绪等的暗涌与本质。李黑地的作品曾在伦敦，洛杉矶，棕榈沙漠，巴尔的摩等地展出。
Li Hei Di, born in Shenyang, China, 1997. Studied at the Maryland Institute College of the Art in the United States and Chelsea College of Arts in the United Kingdom. In 2020, Li Hei Di received First Class Honour Bachelor of Arts degree from Chelsea College, University of the Arts London. Li Hei Di's works are unfolded within the encounters among desire and its limitation, implying instinct, sensibility, freedom, ecstasy and the potential dangers that come with them, mirroring the undercurrents of society, interpersonal relations and beyond. Li Hei Di has exhibited in London, Los Angeles, Palm Desert, Baltimore, etc.
夏莎菲 Xia Shafei
夏莎菲1989年出生于中国绍兴，2020年毕业于意大利博洛尼亚美术学院，获视觉艺术硕士学位，现生活工作于意大利博洛尼亚。受其早期个人经历及旅居意大利的文化环境影响，其作品自由探索当下的欲望和孤独。她的作品充斥中国传统绘画的片段，在宣纸上勾勒荒诞、嬉闹、讽刺的人类与自然相交织的场景，存在主义万物共生中与现实与虚幻的暧昧；在甜蜜、暴力、野蛮、冲突、失衡中建立起幻梦般的诗意。莎菲于2019年获意大利Zucchelli艺术基金会人才奖。
Xia Shafei was born in Shaoxing, China, in 1989, and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Italy, in 2020 with a master's degree in Visual Arts. She currently lives and works in Bologna, Italy. Influenced by her early personal cultural experience of living in Italy, her works openly explore the desire and loneliness of the current time. While humans and nature absurdly intertwined in her Chinese ink paintings, her works playfully and satirically depict the ambiguity between reality and illusion in the symbiosis of existentialism. In sweetness, violence, savagery, conflict, and imbalance, her works establish dreamlike poetry. Shafei won the Zucchelli Art Foundation Award in 2019.
肖语涵 Xiao Yuhan
肖语涵1999年出生于中国北京，现就读于伦敦大学学院斯莱德美术学院，并工作生活于英国伦敦。多元媒介及跨学科的研究方式贯穿于他的创作，大部分都涉及他对其他领域的爱好。他的作品通常取材于熟悉的现成物，在不言而喻的幽默感之下，透露根植于日常生活中系统结构和因果关系的特质。他的作品曾在伦敦及牛津展出。
肖语涵 Xiao Yuhan（b. 1999）

Xiao Yuhan was born in 1999 in Beijing, China. He is currently studying at the Slade School of Fine Art. Xiao’s multimedia and interdisciplinary practice focuses on his hobbies and interests. By incorporating found objects such as balloons, crosswords and erasers, his works, with a sense of humour, examine the systematic structures and relationships rooted in daily life. His works have been exhibited in London and Oxford.
余芷桐 Yuyu Zhitong
余芷桐1993年出生于中国广州，2020年毕业于伦敦大学学院斯莱德美术学院，现生活工作于英国伦敦。其美学受80至90年代亚洲蓬勃发展的文化浪潮影响，常常在作品中反映出交融的感性、对过去的怀旧、深刻的内省，尝试跳脱常规元素的束缚。她在创作过程中不断寻求对既定思想、情感、知觉模式的挑战，并试图在画面中探索多样化的创作方式及结构逻辑。她的作品往往在鬼马的神秘感和童趣的氛围间角力。
Yuyu Zhitong, born in 1993 at Guangzhou, China, acquired her BA at Slade School of Fine Art and currently works and lives in London, UK. Her aesthetics are influenced by the cultural flourish in Asia during 1980s and 1990s. One that was characterized by a confluence of sentimentality, a nostalgia for the past, deep introspection, but also of liberation from conservative elements. As an artist, Yuyu seeks for a constant challenge to established modes of thought, emotion, and perception, exploring different methods and juxtapositions of extremes to broaden her capabilities. Yuyu enjoys the contrast between a sense of whimsical mystery and childlike influence.
